Merlin 409 Lancelot Du Laq Episode Review - I don’t have many good things to say

( I am increasingly sad about how much my reviews are less the squeeing about episodes I want them to be and more rants about episodes that increasingly tick me off. I will say this again: Merlin is an exercise in how a show can have shit writers and still manage to be good if *everything* else - special effects, costume and setting design, production, actors, ect. - are there to pick up the slack. I just feel sorry how everyone here is being so burdened by these terrible writers. )

tl;dr - this episode had an amazing premise but they took everything and ripped it apart and fucked it up. Officially my most hated episode ever.

I’ve been trying to do long play-by-play reviews but I never get around to writing them up, so I think I’ll just stick to short over-all reviews, and I’ll back-post my other reviews when I get to them.
