As for the Morgause thing - I'm actually wondering right now if Tristan, Igraine's brother, knew about the magic. I suppose he knew something, if he blamed Uther for Igraine's death, but still...then again, it kinda brings up the question of how much anyone besides Uther and Nimueh knew. And even if we knew Igraine had known, we can't be sure she would tell all, or any, of her family.
Actually, Lady of the Lake stuff came later, I think, mostly with the Vulgate cycle. I don't think they'll bring it up that much, in this one - especially as the Lady of the Lake is usually said to have raised Lancelot, somehow. Then again, Lancelot's parents died when he was young and we don't actually know what happened in between...:D
