“Argh!” Arthur cried out. Merlin flinched back from the sound, as did many in the crowd below, watching.
That's my favourite part! It's very realistic... where you lose control of your reactions, and as much as you might try to compose yourself in order to control the situation, that whip just keeps cracking, taking it from you.
