so Merlin is a really powerful sorcerer right? I think this would make him highly desirable as a partner. I would like to see a fic where Merlin is being courted by other people. Merlin has no idea what to make of all this (he was raised in Ealdor so presumably knows noting of courting methods or something! IDK) and Arthur is jealous.

While I sometimes like reading about jealousy and possessiveness in fic, I absolutely hate it in real life, and I have ended relationships based on it. So I thought I'd transfer that experience to Merlin.
